Hanlon's Razor:
"Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by
stupidity". Describing French, American, and Chinese medical and public
health experts as "stupid" is probably too harsh. Until the difficult
work of gene sequencing and contact tracing was done, this illness was
"NOVEL". That means, never seen before. All of the finger-pointing
now is mere "Monday Morning Quarterbacking". Everyone everywhere was
fumbling in the dark in December and January. You can blame someone for still
being clueless in February, but imagining this as a bio-weapon attack is
nonsense.
